GEMS is developing its provision of geotechnical, geophysical, hydrographic and metocean services through expanding its inhouse expertise, introducing innovative technology, and investing in its resource base, while strengthening its organizational processes. 

GEMS evaluates each customer’s project and optimises a solution to meet the customer’s objectives. For complex projects GEMS draws on the expertise and resources of geotechnical, geophysical and metocean divisions in order to provide a fully integrated service. GEMS is investing in a growing fleet of specialized vessels minimising the need to charter and mobilise survey or drilling ships. This expanding fleet enables the group to mobilise projects anywhere in the world using permanently equipped assets under in-house control.

The group is well aware of the impact that surveying operations and the industries they support have on the environment. GEMS is committed to the reduction of its impact on the environment and the minimisation of its carbon footprint.

GEMS’ most valuable resource is its people and their expertise. To fully harness this expertise GEMS has been committed from its inception to a professional QHSE program with detailed working processes and standards. These formal processes are the building blocks which have enabled the group to expand in a controlled and reliable manner.
