Telecommunication Cable Route Surveys

GEMS has extensive experience of carrying out cable route surveys on a worldwide basis ranging from full trans ocean cable systems to smaller connecting/ring systems. GEMS uses its inhouse resources to provide the full range of survey services: desk top studies, geophysical surveys, burial assessment surveys, and as-laid CAD services.

GEMS' geophysical survey vessels are fitted with full ocean depth multibeam and sub bottom seismic profiling systems. Highly developed Project Management and Reporting procedures (coupled with the ability of unique Rapid-Data Transfer solutions from vessel to shore) ensure that the often compressed timescales required by GEMS’ customers are met.
