The GEMS metocean department provides a wide range of measurement services offshore and nearshore.

In-field measurements conducted by professionally qualified, fully trained personnel are used to construct meteorological and oceanographic profiles of local areas. Such data are obtained using a number of techniques employing cutting edge technology.

This information can then be used to establish baseline conditions for the design process, selection of offshore sites, and optimisation of operations. Preliminary studies significantly reduce cost, and eliminate unnecessary expenditure.
