About you

Generally speaking, the GEMS Group is looking to recruit people who can work in a variety of situations, from behind a desk to on the open sea. You will need to have an understanding of environmental and safety issues, and be prepared to uphold the highest standards in every way.

As part of a team of technical specialists you should already be comfortable with relevant software and equipment. You should also be prepared to work from offshore vessels and travel to foreign climes.

There is also the requirement from all members of staff to be competent at writing reports, as well as conducting research, interpretation, design and field operations. You will be expected to advise clients of the best courses of action and be prepared to do so in a confident manner.
