 GEMS BSI awards.

GEMS continues to develop and improve its Integrated Management System (IMS), which addresses the independently assessed elements of quality, health, safety and the environment with the result that a recent Third Party Audit recommended transition of its certification to the revised standards:

• BS EN ISO 9001:2008, the International Standard for Quality Management Systems
• BS OHSAS 18001: 2007, the British Standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

Maintained certification to the current standards:

• BS EN ISO 14001: 2004, the International Standard for Environmental Management Systems
• PAS 99: 2006, the publicly Available Specification for Integrated Management Systems

The new suite of certificates and appandices shall be available once the recommendation has been verified.
