GEMS Group Profile

GEMS Group (Geotechnical Engineering and Marine Surveys) is a multidisciplinary international geotechnical engineering and marine survey group working primarily offshore. Our specialist expertise is the planning and execution of offshore geotechnical site investigations, marine geophysics, hydrography, metocean and environmental studies.

The GEMS Group core businesses are split into three companies:

  1. GEMS UK: Geotechnics
  2. GEMS Survey: Geophysics
  3. GEMS Metocean and Environmental Technologies: Metocean, Environmental & Hydrography

Our team consists of highly motivated, professionally qualified engineers, geophysicists, hydrographers and environmental scientists. They combine to provide an extensive pool of experience based on a comprehensive range of projects undertaken worldwide for the oil and gas, windfarm, cable, dredging and port and harbour industries.

We own and operate a large range of specialist, propriety and industry standard equipment to meet the requirements of the range of projects undertaken. Innovation in equipment development combined with highly skilled operators allows us to tailor our services to meet the specific needs and objectives of individual clients and markets.
